Today Eileen on WLS was discussing the advertising campaign of Abercrombie and Fitch. Now, I don't shop there, and I don't like the idea of clothing for 10-13 year olds having words like "Wink wink/yummy" etc on their underwear (which apparantly A&F have sold in the past), but neither am I a prude the way Eileen and many of her listeners are. It's ridiculous how prudish they are! It makes sense given their backgrounds but the fact that she uses her own moral compass (which she assumes is the end all and be all of morality) to judge others (definitely a no-no for any follower of Jesus Christ that knows anything about her religion) and to spearhead a campaign of parental anger against A&F is just downright ridiculous.

I was very happy to hear a 60+ year old man call in, who admitted to seeing morality shift over the past half century, from the intro of underwear in the Sears catalog all the way up to A&F now with half naked young men and women greeting customers at the door of their stores. He was very open minded about it, and Eileen of course turned him into a dirty old man.

That conservative idea that they know the only true morality is so sickening.

On another note, the Supreme Court refused to hear the lawsuit against the law granting same sex marriage on the East Coast. (Massachussettes? Maryland?) WOO! For once something is going good.
